We’re seeking a Teaching Assistant to support our Spanish for Medical Professionals course! You will be helping future physicians build real‑world Spanish proficiency for clinical care.

Required Time Commitment:

10 hours/week for 15 weeks
In‑person class: Mondays, 3:00–5:00 PM (required)
Additional preparation, grading, and student support outside of class

Job Summary:

Assist with in‑class activities and provide on‑the‑spot language support
Prepare materials and create engaging learning resources (slides, handouts, short videos, practice sets)
Grade assessments and offer constructive feedback
Organize and facilitate role‑play/OSCE‑style scenarios
Coordinate and engage native Spanish speakers for class participation
Encourage a supportive, inclusive, and professional learning environment

Required Qualifications and Skills:

Must have a Strong Spanish language proficiency (spoken and written are both required)
Demonstrated interest in Medical Spanish and patient‑care communication
Excellent organization, reliability, and clear communication
Creativity in designing learner‑centered materials and activities

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

Experience teaching or tutoring languages
Familiarity with Spanish medical terminology and clinical contexts
Comfort leading interactive, role‑play–based learning
