Join our team as PT Adjunct Faculty of Pediatrics and Director (or Co-Director) of Pediatrics Clerkship, a pivotal faculty role responsible for leading and continuously improving the PEDIATRIC clinical rotation core clerkship! This position ensures that all learning experiences meet institutional goals, COCA accreditation standards, and the educational needs of students.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Leadership & Administration: Oversee all aspects of the Pediatric clerkship, ensuring compliance with accreditation standards and institutional objectives. Manage resources, faculty, and evaluation systems to deliver a high-quality experience.
- Curriculum & Assessment: Maintain and enhance the clerkship curriculum, integrating osteopathic principles and national standards. Monitor student performance and implement data-driven improvements. This includes some in-person teaching with students preparing to begin their pediatric clinical rotation.
- Student Support: Foster a supportive learning environment, address student concerns, and mentor those pursuing careers in pediatrics.
- Faculty & Site Oversight: Assist the Assistant Dean of Clinical Education in supervising faculty, conducting site visits, and ensuring consistent teaching quality across affiliated clinical sites.
- Outreach & Engagement: Help us build relationships with hospitals, clinics, and community partners. Represent Noorda Pediatrics within regional networks and professional organizations.
Education and Certification:
- Terminal degree (DO/MD) in requisite area of expertise.
- Board certified (AOA or ABMS) with clinical expertise in pediatrics.
- Teaching experience with medical students or resident physicians with progressive leadership experience.
- Self-confident, strong leader, skilled decision-maker with ability to lead by influence and effectively communicate with various constituencies across the college.
- Exceptional at written, oral presentation, and listening skills.
- Able to work independently yet is an effective participant in cross-functional teams.
- Self-motivated, self-disciplined, have a strong work ethic and capable of establishing priorities in an executive setting.
- Flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities and effectively handle frequent interruptions.
- Innovative, resourceful, detailed oriented, with excellent follow-through skills.
- Capable of balancing multiple projects in stressful situations while meeting deadlines, achieving desired results, and maintaining positive relations while understanding the importance of confidentiality of data and information.
