Noorda College of Osteopathic Medicine is seeking a licensed physician to serve as Clinical Skills Faculty! This role provides small-group instruction, coaching, assessment, mentorship, and support within the Clinical Sciences curriculum. Faculty are assigned to a longitudinal student group and help medical students build foundational competencies in patient communication, history taking, physical examination, clinical reasoning, procedural skills, point-of-care ultrasound, and professional behaviors.

- Facilitate general skills laboratory sessions in a hands-on, small-group learning environment.
- Teach and demonstrate clinical skills, including patient-centered communication, physical examination, procedures, ultrasound, and clinical reasoning.
- Observe student performance and provide timely, constructive feedback.
- Assist with OSCEs, skills checkoffs, practical exams, and other performance-based assessments.
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, standardized patients, and General Skills leadership to support student learning.
- Serve as a professional role model and mentor while supporting the mission, vision, and values of Noorda College of Osteopathic Medicine.
- Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) or Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree.
- Board certification or board eligibility in an appropriate medical specialty.
- Current unrestricted medical licensure.
- Clinical practice experience.
- Availability to teach regularly scheduled Tuesday and/or Wednesday General Skills laboratory sessions.
- Teaching, precepting, mentoring, or supervising medical students, residents, or other healthcare learners.
- Strong communication, organization, collaboration, and instructional skills.
- Knowledge of FERPA, HIPAA, OSHA, safety protocols, and professional standards of patient-centered care.
