We are seeking a highly organized and professional Administrative Assistant for Student Affairs to join our team at Noorda College of Osteopathic Medicine! This critical role oversees the daily operations of the Student Affairs Office, ensuring smooth, efficient, and confidential handling of all administrative functions. As the first point of contact for students, faculty, staff, and visitors, this individual must demonstrate outstanding interpersonal skills and a commitment to exceptional service.

- Manage the daily operations of the Student Affairs Office, maintaining a welcoming and efficient environment.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all visitors and incoming calls, ensuring timely and courteous responses.
- Coordinate room reservations and manage catering needs for meetings, events, and student programming.
- Maintain and track office supplies, equipment, and shared spaces, acting as a liaison with Facilities and Information Technology departments for repairs, updates, and general support.
- Provide administrative support to the Associate Dean for Student Affairs, including meeting coordination, project support, and documentation.
- Assist with student-facing processes, offering logistical and operational support where needed.
- Support the Registrar by maintaining accurate student records, processing enrollment, and updating student information systems with precision and confidentiality.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Certification:
- BS/BA required. BS/BA in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Business Administration or relevant field preferred.
- Proven experience as student affairs support staff or relevant administrative position.
- Strong IT skills and experience with Student Information Systems.
- Strong ability in using MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, etc.).
- Experienced in supporting professional students, including mental health referrals and social engagement.
- Strong background in student services and customer service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience in budget management, account tracking, and financial reporting.
