Finance Controller
We're seeking an experienced CONTROLLER to oversee financial operations, ensuring accuracy in accounting, reporting, budgeting, and compliance! This role supports financial strategy, internal controls, audits, and reporting while managing the finance team. Experience in higher education finance is preferred.
KEY REPONSIBILITIES- Manage accounting and finance functions, ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulations.
- Develop and monitor budgets, financial forecasts, and reporting.
- Supervise finance team members across accounting, accounts payable, receivable, student accounts, and grants.
- Oversee audits and ensure financial integrity.
- Implement financial policies and internal controls.
- Support grant management reporting and compliance.
- Manage student tuition and payment operations.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- Bachelors in accounting (MAcc, MBA, CPA, preferred).
- Experience:
- 6+ years in accounting/finance, including auditing and financial reporting.
- Skills: Financial analysis, budgeting, Microsoft Excel, accounting software, leadership, problem-solving, and communication.
- Experience with Intuit Enterprise Suite, RAMP, or similar expense management platforms preferred.
