We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Clinical Clerkship Coordinator to support the administration of clinical clerkships for third- and fourth-year medical students. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys coordinating schedules, communicating with multiple stakeholders, maintaining accurate records, and supporting students throughout their clinical education experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate monthly clinical clerkship schedules for third- and fourth-year medical students, including local and away rotations.
  • Serve as a primary contact for student questions, schedule changes, time-off requests, documentation, and clerkship-related needs.
  • Communicate with students, clinical faculty, preceptors, hospital sites, and site coordinators regarding clerkship assignments, onboarding, badging, and credentialing.
  • Maintain accurate records in systems such as Exxat, Smartsheet, VSLO, Clinician Nexus, MyClinicalExchange, Canvas, and other educational platforms.
  • Track evaluations, monitor completion, follow up on outstanding items, and assist with grade processing and student performance reporting.
  • Support preceptor recruitment, onboarding, renewals, and accreditation-related documentation.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or 3–5 years of relevant experience; equivalent experience may substitute for education.
  • Strong communication, organization, grammar, punctuation, and professional judgment skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new databases, software systems, and educational platforms.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, adapt to changing needs, and work independently and collaboratively.
  • Must be able to lift 40 lbs. and work occasional early, late, or weekend hours as needed.
